Post by tarheelgirl »

Hi! Got the villa, got the tickets, now I need the car. Has anyone used Varlack for car rental? If so.. are vehicles in good shape?...is there spacious(by STJ standards) parking in town?..Has anyone rented the Suzuki XL-7 yet? We have 6 and only Mom and Dad can drive. Thanks guys!

Hi Tarheel girl. We used Varlack a couple of years ago. We had a good experience - vehicle was in good shape (we rented a 7-passenger Mitsubishi Montero) and hauled the bunch of us (4 adults, 2 kids). They were friendly and helpful - even managed to fix our flat tire within one day (we changed it, dropped the flat with them, and they had it fixed the next day). The only drawback is that they don't offer parking in Cruz Bay. Otherwise they're great to deal with.

VARLACK

Hi there, We just got back last week from St John and we used Varlack.
They were great. Professional and curteous. We rented a Suzuki Vitara. It was in good shape and it was ready when we got there. As far as parking in Cruz Bay goes, they don't have much but all the spaces in front of their
place are reserved for renters as well as some spaces across the street. If you get there early you should be ok.

Hi everyone, to anyone who has rental from varlack ventures, do they allow you to take the vehicle on the ferry to St. Thomas? Thanks.
