Congratulations to Lynn on a great race!

When I met you two in December, and Lynn and I were able to talk about running a little bit, I remember thinking "wow, I would not want to be in a race with her. She would waste me!" She's going to make that cancer diagnosis think the same thing.

I'm inspired and motivated by you both, and you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for taking the time to share with us, Ben.

I am sorry to hear the cancer news. Also sending positive thoughts your way!! Life definitely has a way of throwing curve balls. Enjoy your time on STJ before you face this new hurdle. I'm sure all of the training and getting in shape will help Lynn's recovery by leaps and bounds.

Ben and Lynn -

First off congratulations on a great race! That is an accomplishment for sure - we just missed it by a few days. I think the planning and hard work that went into that race will certainly help Lynn with her upcoming battle. I have no doubt this will be another race she will do great at. All my best to you both. Enjoy the rest of your time on the island and soak in some healing rays.

I'm sorry to hear the news about your wife Ben. So many advances have been made in the treatment of breast cancer. Both of you have a lot to go through but you will come out of it stronger. It sounds like both of you have the right attitude and that is so vital.

My husband (47 years old) of 25 years was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and he had a very positive attitude which I think contrubuted greatly to his speedy recovery.

Best wishes and both of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was wondering how things went on Saturday, I looked up the results and saw that she had a good run. Good luck with things to you both.

Cheers, RickG

Congratulations Lynn on a running an excellent race and finishing in the top :)

I looked for you guy's but didn't see you even though I must have seen you cross the finish line as I was there from the time Jeremy finished until hubby finished (1 hour 39 mins :)) but I actually missed him finish as he was 25 mins earlier than last year so I went to chit chat

I pray for a speedy recovery and you know we are all here for you and I hope to see you on island this week so I can say congrat's on the race and give you a big hug and tell you how much we all are thinking of you in person.

Congrats to Lynn and good luck to her for successful treatment! Great advice on getting other opinions. I celebrated my healthy 9 years in September and hope she will be around for a very long time too.
