Pia, you're doing better than I am with the reading. I thought she said something about her husband's cremation and kept looking through Gromit's pics to see people scattering ashes! However, I kept reading and looking and it started to make more sense.

I think I need a nap. Or a drink. Or both.

Lovermont: wow that is quite an endowment!!

Gromit! I love the pictures. I didn’t bring my pictures to Drunk Bay--I really hadn’t heard of it but we stopped at Salt Pond the day before our Ram’s Head hike to make sure we could find the beginning of the trail. We had a little time and decided to hike the trail and loved Drunk Bay. Do you mind if I steal pictures for our album??

We're still chuckling here in Vermont. Both my husband (a lovely man, but completely "proportional) and I posed in front of "coral guy", but I haven't quite figured out how to upload our pictures.
Any of you who haven't made the trek to Drunk Bay, do it next time you're on STJ, especially if you go to Salt Pond Bay or hike to Rams Head. As Gromit's photos show, it's a much different scene than the white sandy beaches that you find around St. John. It's a great place to explore and putz around. The coral people and animals are EVERYWHERE and each one is different and a reflection of someone's personal artistry skills.

Gina -- feel free to use the photos!

For our next trip I am definitely getting a better digital camera -- mine is ancient and doesn't allow me to zoom as much as I'd like.

On our next trip in June -- between Flip Flop and myself -- we should have enough pictures to last a lifetime!
*Another fine scatterbrained production

OK... I'm bumping this topic up. It's completely self-serving. I finally figured out how to post pictures, and I just had to show you this photo of Mr. Lovermont with our coral creation at Drunk Bay.
You may remember that I was so thrilled when Gromit showed our guy in her photos originally.
I hope our little coral guy with the uber-member is still at Drunk Bay when I visit in May!

I love all of the photos of Drunk Bay. We are definitely going to have to stop there in May. Can I wear flip flops or will I need something with a little support?

Flip flops are fine for drunk bay trail, especially if they are Keen's w/ toe protection!

We were at Drunk Bay the week before you all...I have to look up my photo's to see how they relate.

I just know that I made a dog to go w/ another dog...here they are...

Love it, Gromit! I am, however, really disappointed that you didn't let her wear her strappy sandals on the hike.
