Crazy No AC
Planning a first week of June trip with kids. Would it be crazy to stay in Coral Bay villa that has a pool, but no ac? Would you say a small villa in Cruz Bay, no pool but air would be better?
Vaca Mom-
My vote- Coral Bay with a pool.
Which villa?
I've stayed at more than a few villas that didn't need an a/c.,& they all had ceiling fans.
The other couples would sometimes insist on villas with a.c., which costed a little more.
I think that sometimes me and my Sweet Amy were the only ones enjoying the actual island breezes on those patios.

I would vote for both. The thing about the ac in bedrooms, is that it also helps with mosquitos. My youngest gets huge welts from the bites. Once the power went out and she woke up the next am with bites all over b/c they got thru the screens.
But mosquitos may not be as much of an issue if you are in a breezy location, hilltop or cliffside.
We go often in June, it is quite hot. Ac in bedrooms are a must for us. But since you have kids, you will really be glad you have a pool for the evenings.
