Beach chairs?

Post by hoosierdaddy »

we will be on island in three weeks. My wife loves the beach and thats were here butt will be. She is not a snorkeler. Do any of the beaches rent chairs? I know some have rentals like snorkel gear and kyakas, but what about beach chairs.

Most places you stay at will have chairs to use. At least that is our experience.

Are you staying in a villa ? if so they will provide them. If not chairs are available to rent on Trunk and Cinnamon.

Depending on how long you're going to be on the island, you might just want to go to K-Mart and purchase a couple chairs (if your hotel/villa doesn't provide them). They're like $7 per day at Magans and Cinnamon. You can probably buy the smaller chairs for around $20.

Good Luck! Have Fun!

You can buy chairs at St John Hardware in the Marketplace - and who knows, depending on what chairs you buy, I might know a forumite that would be in the market for 2 nearly new chairs

One year when we stayed at Concordia (where they don't have beach chairs), we rented chairs from Crabby's in Coral Bay. They were decent chairs at a reasonable price (although I don't remember the price now)

We are staying at a villa. If they do not have chairs and we buy some I will let you have them for the very low price of $0.00.

Enless we get them from the dumpster then we will place them back where they came from.

HD-
I always contact the villa agency about a week before we depart and ask them to make sure there's enough chair for number of people on the lease. We had eight chairs this year but three were broke. I don't know if Ruth still carries them but she had the backpack type before which our my favorites for the summers at home.
