Lodging for 10 near Cruz Bay in August

Post by SRT »

Hi, I would really like some advice. We are taking our family of 10 to St. John for our 50th wedding anniversary. We are going to stay at Caneel for four nights. I would like to find something near CB for four more nights. The adults would like to stay near enough to walk to dinner and bars at night.

I am looking at Gallows, but their cheapest rooms are already booked. With Caneel's summer sale, the price at Gallows is almost the same as Caneels.

Thanks for any help. SRT

Try Palm Terrace (you could book the 2 bed and the 3 bed units) our family always stays there when they all come - anywhere from 8-10 people - and they love being able to stumble I mean walk home from an evening at Woody's :)

Thanks for the sites. I'm going to run into a problem with only four nights which is something I didn't think about. SRT

Try Villa Bougainvillea - www.donaldschnell.com (+)

We stayed there a couple of years ago and found it to be very convenient and less expensive than other options in the area. It's just up the hill from Gallows and Lavendar Hill. This villa doesn't have a pool. It has two bedrooms, one bath, and large porch and living room and smallish kitchen downstairs. Two more bedrooms upstairs - one of which is very large -- and two bathrooms. Nice size living area, dining area and kitchen and two small porches.
