Beautiful, Thanks!
I just happened to be looking at the webcam at sunset yesterday admiring it and wishing I was there!

Hey Ruth-we're staying in Casa Blanca which I think has a teeny tiny view of Frank Bay. Or by the looks of some pictures I've seen it's possible to walk to Frank Bay? We're not that familiar with this part of St. John so hoping to explore the area a bit more. Great picture-that sailboat looks like you paid them to place it there :)

Hello Liamsaunt. That boat has been there for at least 2 years. Year before last, I saw the owner and daughters (I assume) running around in the dinghy. Last year, I just saw the boat there all the time. I thought maybe the owner had a condo at Gallows. I would love to know about that boat. Thanks all.

Toni- Casa Blanca has a nice pool and view. You'll only be about 100 steps away from Frank Bay.

Steve-Thanks for the info and picture; would have responded sooner but was in Nashville for meetings this week. Great to read that we have a good view-hard to tell from the pictures sometimes. I see from your info your locale is southern adirondacks-my gram was postmaster at a small town named Paradox which is probably more northern, but hey, we're all connected! Thanks again! :)

That picture brings back memories since I was sitting on the deck at Argonauta watching the same sunset. I think I have a picture of that same sailboat as it came down in front of Argonauta, don't have pictures posted yet, need to do a trip report this weekend.

Toni:

My family has a summer camp about 6 miles from the Post Office in Paradox, I know it well. Small world.

Steve-
My gram was postmaster years ago at Paradox and my grandfather was the winter caretaker for a big camp for kids that's right up there too. We used to go up every year. It was beautiful-but have to say haven't been in years. I see from the listing of forum members on STJ you might be there next week. My husband and I will be there too-maybe we'll run into each other at the beach bar and can reminisce about the mountains :)

I really like that boat also, I have a few great shots of it.
