Question for those who have rented from STJ Car Rental

We filled out the paperwork to reserve our jeep for our May trip from St John Car Rental. We faxed it back in and they have charged out credit card a deposit but we haven't gotten any confirmation or any other information from them - Should we be worried? or do we just show up and they will have our jeep?

Just trying to make sure we have everything in order

All kidding aside, I have never had a problem, just give them a call 2 weeks before to confirm.

We had the same experience...two years in a row. All went well and we'll go there again.

You're totally fine. I have rented from them for over 10 years and as long as the deposit went through I had a car waiting for me when I got there.

I did receive an email back from them about 48 hours after I made the reservation, saying that we were confirmed and they had the deposit.

Since my trip isn't for 21 days, I'll just have to assume there is a jeep waiting for us based on that.

Hi Sunny - Looks like two Atlanta girls will be on St. John at the same time. We are there May 15 - May 23. Hopefully we will have an opportunity to meet. Are you staying at Ellison again?

Sunny, ditto to everyone else and we will be on island at the same time (arrive a week before)....looking forward to meeting fellow forumites at the beach bar gathering on Sunday around 5 p.m..

It would be great to meet everyone while we are there. Not sure we will be able to make it to the beach bar on Sunday though. My Sister-in-law who is coming with us is getting married while we are there. The wedding is scheduled for Sunday at Sunset.

We aren't staying at Ellison again although we will still be in Virgin Grand Estates. We are staying at La Bella Vita this time around. I will post a review when we get back.

Sunny, we looked at La Bella Vita when we were just there for our May trip but couldn't book it because it was booked a partial week - guess that was you. It's a beautiful villa with great views. You'll have an amazing time! We're in Virgin Grand from May 9-16 at Abrigado and then will probably stay at Cruz Views the second week (not booked yet). We'll probably run into you when we're there.
