What's the Skeeter Count?

I know there's been some rain lately and I'm just wondering what the skeeter situation is at the moment. Do you expect an increase in those pesky blood suckers in the near future?

Well let me tell you - I look like I have the frickin plague from the "mosquitoes". Whatever they were, they chewed me up and by day #10 I was ready to leave that Island. 10 months earlier I think I came home with 2 bug bites. This trip, probably 200 bites (Feb 7-21). Thank goodness it's long pant weather here because I won't want to be showing my legs for the next long while til they heal up.

Brenda, that's how it was for us last year. I was just thinking about skeeters after reading Gymnastika's iphone blog and her report of so much rain.
