First there is a post from Jorge saying hi
and some do not like Jorge I guess
Then a post about Joshie and the sock monkey.
The comments are yet again odd
Are some of you having a bad day?
Are you drinking the 'tea'
I have not been on the boards as long as most of you but the board used to be really fun and funny and not so serious.
I loved coming on this board when my sister and BIL were both battling mastasized lung cancer this last summer and fall. They have both since passed away.
You all made me laugh.
I come on now and people seem so agitated.
I can no longer tell if it is a joke or what
I know a fare amount of us are going thru rough times financially but still.
Am I missing something? Is this all a joke and I am not getting it?
Maybe we just need a good ol pitcher of painkillers and to sit at the Beach Bar for a bit or have Kenny or Van at Quiet Mon make ys some black out punch......

It's not a joke. Some are agitated for good reasons. I made a comment to Joshie that was probably better left in my own head instead of on this forum, but his photo of Bush with the sock monkey really bothered me to the point that I had to say something. Not ALL of us hated Bush and he's long gone now, so we should all get over him. That's the only problem I had. I agree, this forum should be fun and not full of insults and bickering. I'm sorry I opened my pie hole. It won't happen again.

My best advice....if you read it and don't agree with it just don't comment at all. Sometimes the written word doesn't come out sounding the way you meant it. And then you get in trouble. Some people have issues with others on here for their own reasons. Just don't fall in to that trap.
I'm so sorry for your losses. And I'm glad the forum helped you through those trying times.

Some of the agitation on the forum is my fault, and for that I apologize. I'm having personal issues with Jorge and I should not have chosen the forum as a place to air them.
When it comes to Joshie, I have a couple opinions. #1 - It's not funny any more.
#2 - This is who I suspect of being Joshie (laugh if you will - it's not intended to be very serious )

It can't be Jorge. Jorge is not as computer literate as Joshie, plus, Joshie "speaks" in a different voice, even though he uses "Jorge-isms" to throw us all off.
Joshie, when you asked me who Jorge was, I sort of thought it was a trap, so I replied saying anything I would say to Jorge's face. I felt you weren't on the "up-n-up" when you PM'd me that question, but not being sure, I tried to be as pleasant as possible in answering you.
Bev, keep up the good work! You always crack me up! Post a bigger version of your avatar! I used to have it, but I don't think I do any more. It's a great picture when you see it larger!

I like Bev's advice and I will add that the forum is only what you make it. When someone is posting something I don't like I just don't say anything. I might read all of it just out of curiosity but I try not to be sucked in and post something I might regret. Some people don't get the jokes sometimes. I thought the Oprah thing was hilarious but that is my sense of humor. Others were not in the mood for it. I like to have fun and I will continue to read the forum and post when I have something of value to say. I've met a lot of people on this forum in person and it was a good time. I think if you are having a bad time here then step away. Seriously, step away for a while and find something that makes you happy.
BTW, CG, it is not MrB, I can assure you. He is too busy with work to be able to keep up. I read that list to Mrb and he laughed and said the usual suspects. Must be someone else then. (And it ain't me either. I am not tech savvy enough to do that with pictures.
