Help with a cat name??

Post by Connie »

I volunteer for the local spca. The cat unit is being done over. I now have 4!!!!! kittens in my house along with my own 3.

Husband doesn't know yet, but one I am fostering in the hopes of adopting. He was going to a kill shelter and I just couldn't let him go. His name right now is bonzo, but i don't like it.

My own cats names are Tiki, Lucy and Zoey...and I just lost Buca (Sambuca Kaluah).

I was thinking of Kai, it's also Hawaiin.

The other 3 kittens that are up in my third bedroom are named Leroy, Chesney (KC) and Peter for Peter Cetera.

Anybody have any ideas? Kai means Ocean or Sea. Sound good?

I'm going to have my hands full for the next week.

I think you need a name that doesn't end in "y" to comlpete the phrase "My cat's names are...

Tiki, Lucy, Zoey and... Truck!"

Tiki, Lucy, Zoey and... George!"

Tiki, Lucy, Zoey and... Mr. Kibbles!"

Tiki, Lucy, Zoey and... Mango!"

Tiki, Lucy, Zoey and... Thomas (for st thomas)!"

Our son's middle name is Kaina. "Ka-ee-nah" it means "little brother" in Hawaiian. :)

How about "Simba"?

Or better yet, since you rescued him from going to that "bad" place... how about "Lucky"? :D

If you're going for a Hawaiian name, here are a couple websites with lists:

We have a Miss Lucy, an Oppy,(oppenheimer), and a Gibby,(gibney). Poor Gibby, was food for a coyote.

We named our puppy "Butkus" (I'm a big Bears fan) but now wish we had named him "Goober." So, Goober still is available.

What did you decide Connie??

We named our first puppy Malaika. It means angel. We usually called her Mallie. She was a little angel.

My puppy is now is Jasmine. We call her Jazzie. We just adore her!

Our cat, who is almost 9, is Sassy.
