What exactly is the weather like right now

I heard from Joshie posting about the swells and the water.
I heard about rain.
I ask since I have a friend camping at Cinniamon and she had been sick with a cold so am worried

I am sure camping yesterday and earlier this morning was a bit wet and windy -but the swell certainly is dying down - I wasn't as far as Cinnamon Bay today but Hawksnest,Scott and Honeymoon were peaceful. The sun came out bright and strong by about10AM and the front that was lingering has moved off to the North- You can get a pretty accurate weather view at www.weathercarib.com - it is very oriented to VI weather.
I hope your friend gets out in the sunshine and improves.

I remember that when living on island and Bully and Van would laugh at me when my teeth chattered.
It was Nov 2003 and it rained and rained and rained and I just felt damp all the time.......
I swore after that never be that cold again and for the next 2 yrs pretty good.......

You can really see the current conditions on the webcams - - both the spice cam and the villa serendipity give you an up to the minute view - cloudy and sporadic showers so far this morning.

Burrr! I'm cold right now. I live Gifft Hill area and the wind is really blowing right now. I have my fleece jacket on (in the house). To me, it seems to get cooler every winter. But I think that is because my blood gets thinner and thinner the longer I live here. If I had this same weather back in Michigan, I would have put my bathing suit on and gone to the beach to try and get a tan. The first few years I lived here the summers were a little to hot and uncomfortable for me. Now I much prefer the summertime weather and ocean temps.
