Gastrogrub...anyone been?

Post by Pete (Mr. Marcia) »

Allen Lancaster, who used to work at Stone Terrace, has partnered with the Inn at Tamarind Court to offer "Gastrogrub" on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The menu looks fun and inexpensive.

Has anyone experienced Gastrogrub? I'd be interested in your feedback. Marcia and I definitely are going to try it out when we are there this spring.

I couldn't recommend it more, also I enjoyed Thai night on Wednesday (Sealy cooks) and breakfast is always stellar.

Tell the Nancys I said hi, they sit near the big TV that hides in the cabinet :D

I have the menu as a pdf file, but don't know how to post that here. Drat.

Allen is a nice guy. Marcia and I spent many nights talking with him when he was a bartender at the Stone Terrace. We wish him well.

I've never been but I used to work with him at the terrace and this guy is a serious foodie... I can only imagine that gastrogrub is the real deal.

I think it's a nice alternative to the $35 herb encrusted stuff that others are offering.

Marcia and I definitely will give it a go when we are on island.

Gastrogrub is most definitely on our list. That menu looks adventurous enough for me and comfortable enough for the Hub.

The prices are right, too.

Pierogi!! Did someone say pierogi?

I am there!!

That will definitely be on our list this year! I love that pretty courtyard all lit up with twinkly lights, too. The gastro link won't open for me though. Is anyone else having trouble with it?
