Flight info. from Charlotte to STT?

Post by susan & herb »

I am sure you guys can help me out here. My husband and I were thinking about surprising my cousin who lives in Carolina and taking her with us to SJ in May.
How does she get there and what do the prices sound like for May. We are from NJ so are not really familiar with flights out of the south.
Any help would be appreciated

US Air has daily direct flights from Charlotte to STT. It's great.

Thanks, I knew I could get the answer here real fast.
O.K. here is another, was thinking about asking my sister who lives in Sebastian florida which is near Vero Beach and about an hour & half from West Palm, to also come with us. My poor husband with 3 women! Well she usually flys to NJ out of West Palm, or Orlando which is an ride. What is best connection to STT do you think?

I was looking at Friday, 5/18 to Wed, which would give my hubby and I some time alone on either end. Can't believe the $274 flight. What I saw for my dates was $602.00 on US Air!

If you leave out of philly you can go through Charlotte (us air hub) and meet her or you can both fly direct from your cities and meet in STT. Check USair's web site to see flight time. It may be easier but longer for you to go through Charlotte so you can meet there and come down together so one of you doesn't have to wait in STT. I also live in NJ and have gone to STT through Charlotte but only when a direct flight wasn't available or to save money but the flight time goes from 4hrs to about 6 1/2 hrs.
Good Luck

We are going down Wed, 5/16 direct on American out of JFK to STT. After waiting a year to go, we want the fastest flight possible. I was just looking for the easiest and of course cheapest, as we will probably pay for both of them.

Here is some info,I don't know your date but I used May 12th:
USAIR FLT 1015 PHL-STT 9:57am-1:55pm Direct
OR
USAIR FLT-1583 PHL to Char.6:45am-8:17am
FLT1187 Char to STT 9:40am-1:16pm
You could chose to go either way since the flights arrive with in 40 minute of each other.
Have fun I wish I could go with you.
