That is cute, Mel would pick Gary too! Mel finally made friends with some guys who play music here in Virgina. We had a great time on Friday. He played all his songs with a great group of guys. I've been trying to get him to play at a local bar here in town. If he does I will invite all the forum members to hear him play.
Although I would have to pick Jimmy to party with, sorry Mel.

I went to Kenny Chesney's birthday party one time. He got wasted, dropped a Corona bottle on my foot and I thought I was going to lose a toe.
And I still think he should've paid my dry-cleaning bill (I'd come to the bar straight from work).
So, because I like all of my appendages, and because he seems like he'd be fun, I will go with Jimmy B. Hopefully he'll bring some margaritaville coconut tequila.
But, if I could pick anyone to party with, I think it'd be Bob Seger.

I almost put Hank Williams Jr using that same philosophy, but frankly, I know I don't stand a chance partying with him.Pete (Mr. Marcia) wrote:Well, if we get to pick anyone to party with...I'm going with Keith Richards. Why not run with the big dog if you're gonna run.
And I'm not sure he's much of a beach kind of guy.
[quote="Gromit"]I'd like to assemble a fantasy band of Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Jerry Garcia and Janis Joplin.
Could also be known as "Steel Drums on Acid"
.
I never really did answer the original question, it was a toughie for me. I'm gonna have to go with my man Jimmy though. I endured a freaking monsoon in Michigan to see him in concert.

Although I love KC's music and hubby gave me a "free pass" (don't ask) if I ever meet him, I think I would have to choose Jimmy because I would love to just sit down and hear his stories.
If I wasn't playing this game and this really happened, I would stay on White Bay with Raquel & Seddy at One Love. It's my happy place
