I guess NY cab drivers don't mind driving the BQE. I would hate driving most in Manhattan (the FDR isn't too bad, I guess) - way too stressful. My husband used to drive here until his car was torched while parked on the street overnight. Since then no more owning-a-car for us in the city!

Got it. Stay away from the bad guys. And give bridge instructions. I'll start practicing my authenticity now. :)

2 pm on a saturday? take the triboro or the midtown tunnel-no problems on a saturday
