Daffy:

You asked:
Wolfhound,

Since you stayed there can you tell me more about this villa. What did you mean about the driveway? How long did it take to get into town for the restaurants and to the beaches on the North Shore? How where the mosquitoes and no seeums at night? Anything else you can think of adding?

We stayed at Dream Come True on Devers Bay two years ago (June 2005). It is a short trip to town. Up the hill past the Westin and down the next one. Then take a right. Like a lot of villas, it is built into a hill, so the driveway from the main road goes directly down. I think it was like a 60 degree grade. Roger liked the challenge so we always drove into the driveway. I think a lot of folks just park on the shoulder of the road above the house. There is only one more villa going further down the street so there was no traffic.

The drive through Cruz Bay to the North Shore is no problem. It is where we get breakfast and stock up for the day anyhow. And although folks always talk about the bugs on this forum, I have never been bothered. Maybe it is because we always go in June. Also, it is a fairly new villa so the hot tub and all the other equipment worked great. AC in the bedrooms only. The great room had a ceiling fan.
