It is beautiful here on St. John as always. We have had excellent snorkeling--turtles, sharks, eagle rays, octopi-- and the weather is great. Big swells came in today--pretty but not good for North Shore swimming. It is not crowded at all--the restos are dead. Francis had 79 people on the beach yesterday (I counted!) and they were all squished one end of the beach. Weird--we walked down a little farther and got our own spot.
Sorry for any typos, not used to the iPod
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
Have a wonderful time!! You got out in the nick of time. Another winter blast is on the way. Please share as much as you can stand to. It will help us poor souls in the tundra.
I'm always so impressed when someone takes the time to post "live". I was worried you wouldn't be able to fly out, what with the bad weather and all! Yay! You're there! Shuffle your ipod...what're your first 5 songs? I gotta' know!
I've been wondering what you've been seeing in the waters of St. John. Hmm, sharks... I wonder what kind. I've been to St. John only in the off-season, and am curious to know what your take is on visiting there in the high season. Tell us all about it when you get back - though I wouldn't mind more "hi's" while you are on the island.
