Kidding .. I say I am skipping it for now but things change!
I received an email notification over the weekend with 2009 concert dates - what is up with this - no Cleveland? We are big blue collar area that has always supported Bruce - long before he was the Boss. Although sometimes they get added after the initial tour announcement and sometimes he'll come more than once, so we'll keep our fingers crossed. I've seen him quite a few times and even if you are not a huge fan, he puts on such a fun and energetic show that you can't help but participate. At least thats what my beloved spouse says, he's not as much of a fan.

It was a great Super Bowl game - unlike last year, it won't cause me nightmares for months to come
One of the better half time shows as well.
The woman singing the Star-Spangled Banner was Jennifer Hudson (Americal Idol, academy award winner for Dreamgirls). It was her first public appearance since the brutal murder of her mother, brother and nephew last fall. I thought she was amazing.

Bruce did say in his press conf. that they will likely get back to Detroit/Cleveland after Europe, indicating there will be a second US leg for this tour. Which is goods news for somestjdeb wrote:I received an email notification over the weekend with 2009 concert dates - what is up with this - no Cleveland? Crazy ticket sales today .. just crazy!
Kind of a bummer he was so good - reminded folks that he still has it and maybe made getting tix today that much harder.
Connie - he probably didnt do Born in the USA so that it wouldnt be misinterpreted as a patriotic song again.
