AA Airfare Rant
AA Airfare Rant
I've been watching fares for our next STJ trip and finally decided to pull the trigger. I got all the way through the on line reservation process, entered my CC number and then BAM - "We're sorry, that fare is no longer available". It went up by $50 PP. Argh!

Air fares
I have waiting for airfares to go down also. My trip isn't until the first week in August so I have time yet. I have been using farecompare.com to track airline fares. You can sign up on the site to notify you when the fares come down.

This past summer, I logged on to AA.com and found a great rate for our December trip from Boston, direct flight! Let's call is Rate A.
I called hubby, told him I was making the purchase.
I log back on to AA.com and low-and-behold, the price jumped $100 each ticket. Rate B. This was in the course of, like, 40 minutes.
I purchased any way because I was paranoid it was going to go up more!
Not two weeks later, the fares went down to BELOW Rate A! Darn Rate C!
