Atlanta Airport Layover Tip
Atlanta Airport Layover Tip
If you have a 2 or more hour layover at Atlanta, I recommend going out to Terminal E to eat or kill time, especially in the morning or early afternoon before the international flights start moving. It has a very nice food court with plenty of seating and no lines to speak of. There was even a musician on a grand piano providing live music. The bookstore has a Starbucks attached.
Thanks to a missed 9:40 am connection (Delta) I got to spend a 5 hour layover in Atlanta this past Friday and did some exploring at the airport. What a difference between Terminal E and Terminal C where my departing gate was; people standing on long lines at cramped food kiosks with little or no seating.

You guys are lucky, I along with my husand and 6 other family members had to sleep in that airport overnight due to weather. NOT FUN!! Don't remember ever seeing or being told about the nice food court. I do know what you mean about the international flight thing, we almost missed our flight last June due to an international flight coming in, not happy about that one.
