Lion in da Sun

Post by Nanque »

We went out with Josh last week and had a great time. A young guy that came down to St. John with his brother and started a new business. He is super professional, and has made sure he is knowledgeable about the area. We went to 3 different snorkel spots, and Sandy Spit, Foxy's Taboo, Bubbly Pool, White Bay. A great day with a super nice young guy with a great business. Gas was less than $75! Would suggest Lion in da Sun to anyone.

Thanks Nanque! You have great timing!! We were debating who to use for our charter at the end of February and we were considering Lion in Da Sun and you just sealed the deal!! They look fun and professional and rates are reasonable! I can't wait!!!

We'll be down in April and LiDS was our first choice. Have just heard too many great things. Can't wait! Would it be wise to make a reservation now? Not sure how busy he gets in April...

We were with Josh yesterday and had a great time. I would recommend booking early as he stated that they are busy every day.

We have gone with Josh twice . . . I still don't have this years trip report done. Last year we went to the baths, indians, and caves and it was amazing. This year we went to Jost and the bubbling pool and then to different places for snorkeling.

Josh is such a cutie and knows a lot about the area and converation is easy.

17th-
Josh also recommends that you book early in your trip in case of a problem (weather etc) so it would give you a chance to go later in the week if they have an opening.

T22,
Good idea! I just sent them an e-mail through their website seeing what they had available. Hopefully, they aren't booked out this far in advance, but you never know...
Thanks!

Josh is the best! We had a great trip with him last summer.

He was sporting a carolina blue Lion in da Sun hat that I wanted. He didnt have any on board but tracked me down the next night in town... just took it off when I crashed on the couch.

Everyone in our group thought Josh was the perfect choice.

Called LiDS and booked a day on the water for April 24th! We so need it right now! Cold day in Ohio...

Would love to pick their (Josh & Matt's) brain as to how they were able to move to STJ and start their business. Would love to do the same someday. Maybe they need an LiDS II?

Anyway, can't wait!!!
