The case of the missing supreme court justice
LBJ was at Dallas Love Field. There is a plaque marking the spot. Dallas Fedreal Judge Sarah T. Hughes was brought to Air Force One to perform the oath. There was a concern with putting LBJ in the air without having sworn him in. There was a question about whether he was the president without the oath.

Back to the original question. Does anyone know if all nine Justices attended the inauguration? When I was watching it live on CNN, they said one was missing. But, in other searches I did since then, is seems that all nine were present.
There was some speculation that Justice Alito would not attend due to the fact that Biden and Obama opposed his appointment.
Does anyone know the answer?

Pete-I looked at the photo in this link:
http://gigapan.org/viewGigapanFullscree ... 2b4b06233c
and it appears to be either Alito or Kennedy. You can look and see.
You have to scan in on the picture to the speaker's left of President Obama at the podium and see them sitting there.
However, after having looked at it again, I think I see Kennedy and Alito, but am not sure about Breyer, nor am I certain about Ginsburg.
