"I'm not easily distracted, I'm just LOOK THERE'S A SQUIRREL!"
I don't own an iPod. The kids have them. I use my PC for music or stream it to my home theater system. My playlist right now consists of 3 or 4 tracks off the new Guns and Roses, Sugarland, Zac Brown Band, Dierks Bentley, Kings of Leon, Franz Ferdinand and WASP. I like variety....Hehehehee! My all time favorites are Van Halen and Joe Satriani.
Haven't done the shuffle yet but wanted to ask Gina if you are referring to the story I had always heard about someone witnessing a murder. If that's the case, Phil Collins says that's not the story behind that song. Saw it a week or so on some VH1 show.
If I remember correctly, he said it had something to do with his marriage breaking up.

I didn't know that. The speech my classmate gave said that Collins and a friend witnessed another friend dying by drowning. Collins wasn't able to help but the friend could have but choose not to. Years later Collins wrote the song and put the friend, who didn't help, in the front row. After the concert the friend killed himself.
So, that isn't true . . . I am going to have to listen and see if I can figure how the lyrics connect to a breakup.
I like the song but every time I hear it I think . . . that was mean Collins . . . maybe he was too scared to help or in shock.
It's 4:45 a.m. and I'm wide-awake. Darn jet lag. So I shuffled my ipod.
Foxes - Richard Thompson
Dream Brother - Jeff Buckley
Don't Let It Get You Down - Kevin Ayers
Thousands Are Sailing - The Pogues
Step Tempest - Herbie Nichols
Gina-here's a link to Snopes about the Phil Collins song. The story of the drowning is not true. It's a story Phil Collins has been trying to dispell for years. It has to do with the breakup of his marriage. http://www.snopes.com/music/songs/intheair.asp
