My all-things-presidential husband spent all day watching the coverage and we are now parked in front of the TV watching PBS coverage.

Let me know how to find your pics if they are posted on Facebook.
Here's a link to my facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/people/Rick-Garvin/5729364 - Use your VIOL screen name in your invite, I only friend people who are cooler than me.

If you watched the coverage all day, I was the guy in the red stocking cap, black coat and the forum koozy on my water bottle.

I'll post a link to my photos later today.

Cheers, RickG

Is that the Washingon monument? Or is it the Clinton monument?

I'm so glad you had fun! I loved your photos, I really didn't get to experience the crowds, I was on the other side of the Capitol. I don't know how you stayed warm, I need your secret to it because I froze!

It was a good day.

Keeping warm was easy while I was moving; something that was probably hard for you. It was probably seven miles of walking. Stopping at Gordon Biersch for beers at half time was a good plan.

(This is sort of off topic from off topic...)
Thanks for the shout out to Gordon Biersch. Dan Gordon - half of the Gordon Biersch team - is a childhood friend of mine. (Actually he told me a couple of months ago at our 30th high school reunion that I was his "first big crush"!) He's a prince among men, and I'm always proud of him when people enjoy his beer & restaurants!
Hmmmm - Gordon Biersch St John. Now there's an idea!

Rick-One thing I meant to ask on Tuesday, was the Lincoln Memorial open for tourists during the Inauguration?
How many more days?
