Rhumblines
Rhumblines
We have never been to this restaurant but it is on our list to visit in May. For those that have been, do you get a Pu Pu platter in addition to a meal, or is the platter big enough to be your meal?
Thanks.
Thanks.

We've been to rhumblines our last few trips and have really enjoyed it. The back of the menu is pu pu portions so you kind of have the choice whether or not to order enough to make it a meal or to try a few things along with your entree. I have orderd a pu pu platter for dinner AND have ordered entrees on other visits so its really up to you!
p.s. the mahi with banana buerre blanc is really good and the scallops are delicious and SPICY!!! Hope this helps!!!

Our favorite place.... My wife & normally get a pu pu platter and one meal and it is enough... The spicy noodles (Hot beware) , spring rolls, coconut shrimp are great to name a few. My wife loves the thai beef salad with adding the pistachio goat cheese from the other salad. We just order one more round of noodles and shrimp if we need more... and the bill is still reasonable for the quality of the food.
I'll be staying 2 weeks in April, and bet we will eat here 4 times or more.
Enjoy.

If it is just you and one other then you can order some things off the pu pu platter and one entree.
No matter what you get at Rhumblines it is always good.
I know there are other chefs then Jerome but he is just really good.....
Hot to Jerome is HOTT!!! He worked with a thai chef in Tortola (think that is where it was) and he learned alot about the use of spices and heat.......

Ditto what island chef said. You can also order larger portions of some of the pupu selections which we did because we shared it with a small group. It's really a create your own platter. As suggested, splitting a pupu platter and one entree is probably plenty unless you are big eaters. This is my new favorite place on STJ. We ate there twice in a week last time. Here is a link to the menu to give you a better idea of what you can order.
