Chateau Bordeaux

Post by Nanque »

Gave Herman a ride this morning and he said Chateaux Bordeaux is closed, including the lunch lady. Restaurants are having a hard time. We enjoyed it in November when we had their new lower priced menu. We were looking forward to returning.

Is it closed for good, then? That's too bad. We did notice a few differences between our last visit and those previous. I'm sorry to hear it.

I heard a couple talking outside the office today discussing the closing of Chateau Bordeaux and The Balcony - again I don't know for sure or if it is a rumor :(

Again I don't know if that is a rumor or not - I'll let you know as soon as I know for sure - just thought it was too much of a coincidence but I did just call the Balcony and they answered so thats a good sign :)

Whew! I'm so glad The Balcony is not closing, it's our favorite lunch spot. Haven't been to Chateau Bordeau but I'm sorry it's closing.

Someone will move into that location for sure what a view. Sign of the times sorry to say, your likely to see alot more of this as I believe we are in the early stages of this slowdown. Sure hope I'm wrong but some of the stuff we have coming still tells me we have a long ways to go. We will come out of this a better nation but it's going to take some time. Anyhoots there's going to be some great deals all around if ya got the cash and a job.

Too bad, we love the Chateau Bordeaux and would definitely have been one of our dinner spots in June.

We stopped at Chateau Bordeaux one day last week after the beach. Approx. 4:00 or 5:00pm. We wanted to enjoy a blender drink on the balcony. The bartender said he would not serve a blender drink on the balcony at that time, only earlier in the day. Lesson being, you cannot turn away customers (4 of them) willing to pay $6 or more dollars for a drink because it is a half-hour or so off your scheduled time to run a blender.....
