help me locate on a map? could be fun!

Post by canucknyc »

You guys are so full of great information! I need to tap this resource... who can help me pinpoint some places on this map?
I'm looking for:
- Pine Peace Market
- Dolphin Market
- Starfish Market
- Varlack Ventures

I'm sure I'll add to the list  Thanks!!

Oh - in case you are wondering why I would need this... We'll be taking a bunch of newbies with us in May, and thought that we'd give them a map with a few of the essentials located on it. Thanks for your help!

do you see where Centerline and South Shore come to a V? Texaco is on that V and Dolphin Market is across the street from Texaco on Centerline.

If you follow the one way arrows on South Shore you will be heading to Starfish. Starfish is not on the one way part of the road but it is just beyond that.

If you continue on South Shore past Starfish you will get to Pine Peach on your left. I don't know exactly the cross streets.
It looks like the Westin Driveway is indicated with two way arrows behind Great Cruz Bay. If you have gotten to the Westin you are past Pine peace.

If I'm reading the map correctly, Varlack Ventures is on the left side of King St. (where the "St." is)

I have always been to chicken to try and park in their lot. It's so narrow!!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

it's a darn scary lot at times! we came to avoid it in the 3-4pm hours since all the construction workers seem to be getting a road brew at that time!

This map has a pull down menu. If you go to the POI points of interest it has a list of major areas and businesses on the islands.

"Add a placemark" button in the lower right corner. You can turn the placemarks on and off.

Toodles.

Oh so you yourself added them to the map and then sent me a picture of it. I was thinking that I should be able to see them on my Google Earth... now I get it. Thanks for doing that!

Ok this one might be a lot more difficult: anyone know where Southern Exposure villa is? I think it's in the Fish Bay area...
