Your favorite large (4-6) BR Villa
I'm looking for a nice Large villa to put 10 people--4 adults and 6 kids under 8. Budget up to 8-9,000 in off-season. What are your favorite large villas for killer view, lovely pool area, easy access, nice furnishings...
There have been a few threads on this type topic over the past several months (large villas, villas for toddlers etc.) so you may get more info by searching around.
With little kids, I think the biggest concerns are having bedrooms connect with each other (so kids aren't alone in their own pod) and pool access from bedrooms. When I was searching for one that would accomodate a group of 12 (including 6 kids), I found the following:
Avalon - has a couple of bedrooms that are linked together
Crystal Seaview - has a lot of bedrooms, and they're linked together (although this one overlooks Pond Bay construction)
Vistaero - has 5 bedrooms, they don't have interior access to each other, but 3 have pull out sleeper sofas
Ristaba - 6 bedrooms that are together
Tesori
Villa Villekula
Promises Kept (although may not allow kids under
Rendezview
Rendezvous (I think some of these bedrooms have pull out sofas)
Casa Luna (in Coral Bay)
Amani (has loft and 2 bedrooms in main house, third bedroom in separate pod/cottage)
Good luck with the

We enjoyed both Villa Panache (from Catered to) and Monte Bay (Caribbean Villas).

We stayed at Villa St. John on Chocolate Hole Bay and LOVED it.
Pool at sunset here:

View of house from across Chocolate Hole Bay:

It is a main house with 4 large bedrooms and a guesthouse with 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms on the main house were 2 up and 2 down. All bedrooms are the same size and each has a huge bathroom with separate shower and spa tub. Each room has a safe, mini-frig and coffee maker. Two bedrooms have queen beds (one in the guest house and one of the upstairs bedrooms in the main house) and the others are all king. In the guest house, one bedroom is on the same level as the kitchen and living room and the other is downstairs. The decor was really nice. Nice large open kitchens in both the main and guest house. Private balconies for all the bedrooms. Great pool, a spa, and a really nice hot tub.
During off season, they can be rented separately if available.
The best part was that we had stairs down to Chocolate Hole Bay and there is some awesome, very private (at least until Pond Bay Club is finished) snorkeling - we saw almost everything there including swimming octopi!
Here is the url to the web site for the house, where you can see lots more photos:

thank you guys for all who responded. You have really helped me out. I was curious which villas just had that special "it" factor. My trip will be in 3 phases-one with just me and my two little boys (I am that crazy), then all 4 of us, then with another family. Quite the planning! And some of it will be on virgin gorda. Just don't know which part!
