Anthony, can you remove that "review?" It's really starting to bug me, the more I think of how they have exploited this forum.

Anthony, you need to solicit more restaurant reviews from the forumites! I just went over there to look at the offending CC post and my reviews from last May are still almost at the top of the page! :D

Thank you Anthony, for deleting that. Now, who really wrote those other reviews of the joint (in December)? Hummmmm...oh, whatever...

Thank you for running a first class forum, Anthony. I really appreciate your efforts. Certainly not as easy of a job as some might think.

Forumites, I promise to post more reviews from this trip. I have to admit that I have not done so these last few trips.

I personally feel that no one wants to hear my opinion......how stupid is that??? Thank you Liamsaunt for bringing up the subject again. We are all guilty Anthony, and it really is an easy thing to do.............it's just toooooo easy NOT TO, and yet I rely on the forums opinion. Good night, I have to be awake in 6 hours. Yay!!!

Cracker's Review

Post by daveandapril »

Hey Everybody,
We are the owners of Crazy Cracker's, and just found out about this forum and the review. It was done by an employee who was trying to win brownie points and without our knowledge. After speaking with him, he was unaware of the forum rules and didn't mean any harm by it. We are truly sorry that this happened and offended so many people. We assure you this will never happen again, but honestly we were shocked to see how harsh and quick to judge people of this forum in Love City can be.

Hi Dave and April - No harm, no foul. Glad to see you on the forum and I hope you stick around to find out that we're really not such a bad group. Your employee made a valiant effort, even if it may not have been the right thing to do. One can only try, right? I'll be in to try your place out in May, I've heard good things in the review section!

OK, I owe you guys an apology for "being harsh and quick to judge". Please don't judge the whole forum community for my crappy, knee-jerk reaction, as most everybody else is pretty easy going. I certainly don't represent the whole forum. A lot of us really treasure this forum, and despite Anthony's best efforts, occasionally there are abuses by commercial interests and spammers.
Again,a heart-felt "I'm sorry" for jumping the gun. Wishing you guys the best of luck, and a hearty welcome. [Now give that employee a pill to cure brain-farts]

Welcome to the forum. Stuff happens and because we are such a tight knit group around here, we sometimes get a little overprotective of Anthony's forum. Please don't judge us too harshly, we all visit STJ often and many of drink like fishes, so you will probably see us all too often

I wish you guys the best of luck. I have fond memories of my on-island time hanging out at the old Backyard, so I will be sure to pop in when we are there in April to check it out and say hello.

Hey, keep us posted on how things are going, live music and food specials. I visit STJ a couple of times a year and would love to know more about your restaurant and the St. John Inn project.

In a vacuum, people are likely to consider the best and the worst. Right now, I don't have a basis for recommending Crazy Crackers or St. John Inn. Crazy Crackers is new and the last person I know who stayed at St. John Inn was back during the commercial wharf construction days (loud, smelly). Give us the scoop and we'll pass it on!

Cheers, RickG
