Beach Bar forumite gathering 1/18..

Hi all!!!! We leave this Monday for our adventure on St John and wanted to post that we'll be at the BB on the 18th. Ruth mentioned something that she may have some glow bracelets........but I have nothing to offer except a picture of Mike & I at a previous gathering.

Here we are....Mike is in the green t-shirt 3rd from the left with a cheese eating grin and I'm next to him in the sloppy grey t-shirt.

Looking forward to seeing any forumites on island at the time. If you haven't been to the Jazz Jam on Sunday's trust me it's awesome beyond words. Plus this date they have a special party to celebrate the release of their first CD. See Anthony's post earlier today for details.

Thanks so much for the pic for us new forum-ites! Can you ask Mike to wear that cheese eatin grin intermitently on the 18th? We'll never miss you then!

podsnel: looking forward to meeting you!! When Mike is on St John, he ALWAYS has that smile...he'll be hard to miss!!

We'll be on the beach, not around the bar...speaking only for ourselves of course!!

Will be curious to hear what ya think of St John...

we are newbies...first time staying on St. John. Where is the Beach Bar? Cruz Bay?
What time does the jazz start? We won't get in until 5:30 or 6pm, but would love to see everyone and hear the music.

Sail, does your flight get in at 6pm or are you thinking of the ferry?? Give us some details of your plans. There is almost always a gathering at the Beach Bar (in Cruz Bay) Sundays for the Jazz Jam. It usually runs from 4pm to 7pm. The 18th sounds kind of special considering the release of their CD. Hope we can see you there.
