Small Guitars for travel

Post by DCphoto »

Mel posted this on my trip report but I thought everyone should read what he wrote if your interested in buying a travel guitar.

From Mel:
It's as Samick Greg Bennett Travel Acoustic guitar 36" TT65. Don't buy one. Terrible tone. I bought my kid a Baby Taylor Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. Better in every way.

Also, the Little Martin (LX1) 3/4 also is an excellent travel instrument with a beautiful tone. It's been around the block over the past few years and sounds as rich and right as the day we brought it home. Not a single repair required.

I just bought my hubby the little martin for xmas for our trip in April. He loves it and it sounds wonderful! Reasonable price too! Can't wait to hear him play on the beach!
