Wow, I can't believe I made this milestone! I am so looking forward to taking my daughter Emma who will be 20 months old and (hopefully!!!) walking in May. She has been on island twice (9 weeks and 7 months) but she pretty much slept most of the time and hated the water. Can't wait to get outta PA and head for some warmth. Emma's Grammy and Poppy are on island now and it just isn't fair when they want 2 inches of freezing rain here and they tell me the wind chill is 80 degrees....is say "bite me".
Anyway, I think we would like to try and go to Anegada. I plan on getting Emma her first passport so we should be ok with customs. But I wanted to know if there is a feasible way to visitng the island in one day? What is the best way to get there? We try to do something new every trip and thought a lobster lunch on the beach would be awsome!
Thanks everyone.....123 days and counting

I don't think you can visit Anegada from STJ in a day due to scheduling and distance
You can rent a private charter if you want $$$ (see the link) or take a ferry to Virgin Gorda and then connect with another ferry from there. The ferry link I posted shows a ferry from Tortola but for some reason I didn't think that was running so I would call the number on the link and see if you can do the trip by ferry from STJ or Tortola.
These two options are the only ones I know of and I too am looking forward to see if anyone else has better options that I don't know about.

I have tried numerous times to figure out how to get to Anegada for a day trip from STJ and it really just does not seem possible. You can't get to Tortola from STJ early enough to catch the ferry. For that matter, you don't return from Anegada early enough to clear back into STJ either. Ditto we couldn't get to STT early enough to take a flight there. If anyone else figures out a way, I would be interested too.
Going "home" again October 26th!
