I am with Rick all the way...took me a bit to read but loved that it was all in one report. It does make me not want to bring anyone new there.

I am assuming your newbies were miserable the night they spent at Ivan's too. You are a trooper for dealing with them!

Your pics (as usual) are gorgeous! The colors are amazing!!!

Thanks for sharing!

Great job Vicki - I took my time to really enjoy your report and I laughed several times. Nothing like some forumites to rescue your trip from the newbies!
Thanks for taking the time to write and post about your trip.

Great report! Great pix, Vicki! Thanks for taking the time.

We're taking two newbies down with us in April. Although, we went through our list of friends very carefully, and think if any of them are going to "get it" it'll be these two. So, to say the least, we're hopeful. Just remember, we were all newbies once...

VickiH, you are a saint. There is no way I could have handled/controlled myself under the same newbie situation.

Loved the report as well as the pictures! We are gearing up for our Feb trip and your report is really getting me in the spirit.

Beautiful pictures as always Vicki.

Your bathroom experience at Woody's is reason #142 for me to never go there again.

We had a not so pleasant experience with newbies (or as we jokingly called them "nubes") this past June so I feel your pain.

It’s hard to see a great name (Teresa) sullied like that...I’d be happy to restore the reputation of people-named-Teresa-who-go-to-STJ...where do I sign up?

Vicki, great TR. I had been looking forward to it since we will be staying at Sunnyledge in May. Didn't know they had a resident cat. My kids will be thrilled. Obviously you overcame your pre-trip doldrums. Glad you had a good time in spite of the newbie Debbie-downers!

Moral of the story: Never take newbies to St. John. Honestly, they just don't get it.
