I checked the webcam on St. John Spice this morning a little before 10a local STJ time and saw this:



I'm sure there is a story there, but I'm not writing it. Good luck to whomever this is! Getting married on St. John on New Year's Day isn't a bad way to start a life together.

That is so funny that you posted this. This couple was waiting for someone to pick them up and get them married, so we told them about the web cam. I have a few shots I was going to email to them tomorrow. I will send a link to this post also.
I think they will get a kick out of it.

OH, how I wish I had known about ST John 30 years ago when we got married. Well, maybe not. I couldn't have afforded it then. Just glad I can go there now.

There is no telling how long they had been there when I first looked in, but they were hanging out, making calls on the cell phone, pacing around, making more cell phone calls for several minutes after I got the screenshot. I guess nobody told them about 'island time'.

I'll bet their wedding vows had a "love is patient.." line in it that was more applicable than they originally intended.
