Cptnkirk's Grand Finale

Post by cptnkirk »

All right here we go the grand finale. Our vacations are really pretty boring when it comes to doing a lot of activities but that's the way we like it . No real plans just kinda chill out and our biggest decision of the day is usually what beach to veg out on. That's just how we roll when on St John and it fits us to a tee. After reading recent trip reports I must comment on our friends Andy and Dawn. We have been friends for 15 or so years and they are keepers for sure. We have taken at least a dozen vacays with them and never had a problem whatsoever they really are a rare find when it comes to compatibility for vacations. There like family to us but even better as they go home when there welcome is worn out. We just really click and ya don't have to entertain them although we do tend to be pretty entertaining when we get together. That being said here's the last day of our trip pic heavy short on words as I don't want to type much. Hope the pics say it all.

Captain don't hit the Island!

Head back to the villa and cook up a feast of chicken on the grill and about 4 side dishes. Gorge ourselves and drink until merry and enjoy our last sunset of the trip.

All in all another great St John Vacation. Wish I snorkeled some more other than that I give it a Ten. We shall return for more memories and adventures.

Cptn, thank you very much for your reports. I enjoyed them thoroughly.

I think anyone on this forum can see how you & your family and Andy & his get along so well. When I think of your vacation on St. John, I think of Andy's too - I can tell you guys all share your joy together on the island. It's always fun and a pleasure to read your reports. I find them funny and warm (a corny word, but true nonetheless).

Wish you and your family happy holidays. Give my wish to Andy (whose entertaining character I appreciate very much  ) and his family too.

Of all the great photos you've shown us, I think my favorite is the "air guitar". I know it could be taken anywhere but it was on St. John and that makes it all more special. You guys click & rock.

Thank you for a fun read with great photos. I don 't think it's possible to get in enough snorkeling in one week, or two for that matter
