Looks familiar X! :?

OK, CG, rub it in. I am seeing -7 right now.
But, it will probably thaw out in January and we will have 40 degree temps. That's Wisconsin for you!

Oh my gosh, I hate the cold soooooo much!!! I didn't even leave my house yesterday. It looked like Alaska outside yesterday with the snow blowing and 35 mph gusts. I told one of my co-workers that hell froze over and someone put me in it  . It is way to early for this crap. Our grill isn't covered either. We were still ocassionally using it last week. How many days til spring? I must be cranky because I so dislike ( I didn't want to say hate again) how it gets dark so early too. Combined with the cold, it's a real energy zapper.

I'll try to put on my happy face now  . I must book the May trip soon. That will get me out of this cold weather funk.
Going "home" again October 26th!

Perhaps I should clarify....

I hate snow because for one year we lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We got 340" of snow that year and it took care of any desire I might have had to ever see snow again!

CA Girl,
You lived in the U.P. also at one time? I still have a frostbite mark on my face from walking across campus at N.M.U. to class one morning wearing an Eddie Bauer down coat.

I feel the pain of much snow and bitter cold.

We have ice skated on our lake on the morning of Christmas and played tennis in the afternoon.

I just cannot explain our weather pattern to anyone that hasn't lived in CO.

um, yeah, I can relate. Our grill is similarly covered under 2 feet of snow.

And, as it is placed a bit back from our house, we would have to trudge through said 2 feet of snow or shovel a(-nother) path if we REALLY want a steak.

I'll just throw in a chicken pot pie.

I think it looks wonderful. I love snow (in the winter). Much better than rainy, foggy, humid weather and around 32F. Yiiuuukk!

So please send some snow over to Scandinavia

My grill looks the same! Since the kids' last day of school was cancelled for a snow day, I'll just eat all the Harry & David 'tower of treats' stuff that I bought the teachers. No grilling required!
