Eastend Seascape Villa info?

Post by RickG »

Does anyone have any first or second-hand experience with Eastend Seascape villa? It is on the far east of east end and looks to have a dramatic setting.

I'm curious about access to the water and the management company.

Cheers, RickG

rick, if you're really looking at east end with beach access, look at peeble cove on the bluff just past haulover. see her at http://www.cloud9villas.com/Pebble_Beach/index.htm

did a tour of her last dec and views are knock out just too damn far out for bride. stayed at a c9 villa 7 times. good folks, villas well equipped and good value. peeble's is c9 owner's normal residence on island home through school year and only rent during summer. manager told me in oct owners are back in states for a while and that's why she's full time rental.

all bdrooms have ac, 2 main levels are nice and private but lower level not as nice but does have an outside wc so with binocular's you can check on ship wreck crowd while taking a c*ap. (view from john much better than from calaloo (sp).
i think it's your kind of place.

papabou, I've had my eye on Pebble Beach/Cove for years. The challenge is that the owners seem to be in residence every time I've looked at the place. While a view from the loo is a fine thing, I was intrigued by "A private stairway leads from the house to an absolutely private beach." No NPS tickets on that beach! There's a house across the street for sale.

Some day.

rick,

you may be luck. seems you like stj around halloween. while web site only shows availability thru 10/15/09, that's case for all their villas. owners have 2 school age daughters and if they plan to be in residence on stj for 09/10 school yr, they'd be back way before 10/15. i bet alan & linda are staying in states another yr.

there are good steps from villa down to beach (to right side looking from water) and i've always heard there's excellent snorkeling there. you could mosey around to haulover after your noon beverage(s).

East End

Post by wonderlost »

I noticed a statement that the east end can be hot. This is true, but if the east end seascape villa is over privateer bay, it will be windy, which will definately mean NO a/c necessary. The reason it is desert out there is because of the constant trade winds. Very dramatic location. I have spent months out there at a time at another home.
