Knolmom!!! Jeez, how are you feeling now?!?!? That is truly scary!

Lauren and Brion are the best! We love when we get to stay with them! The two of them are so genuine and they make you feel like part of their family when you are there.

Keep us posted on your recovery!

Glad you made it home safely. What an adventure!

Even though she was showing her age when we stayed there, Spellbound has truly spectacular views.

Did you get to meet your next-door neighbor while you were there?

No we didnt, but his dog came to visit us every day and we took good care of him. Lots of partying during the day on the weekend but quiet every night and during the week.

Just want to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes. Visited the surgeon today and will have the surgery next Friday. He promises I will be home same day or next.
Hopefully I can get a trip report together during the week. Maybe the memories will calm my nerves.
Thanks again and P.S. the leg held up just fine, over hill and dale, sand and surf and on and off the Palma Bella( with a little help from John and co.) I didnt even need the floating cane, however, I could have really used my son's treking poles to get around at Estate Lindholm, to explore the grounds at Spellbound, and to walk up and down the main drag from Foxy's to Corsairs on Jost.

Hi Knolmom,

My sister-in-law is a STJ regular and a nurse at Good Sam (don't know if you will be there)but she could bring good wishes.

My husband and I have stayed at E.L. many times and agree with you, the Morisettes are the BEST. Most recently we were there during "Omar" in October - quite an experience. We are going back in January and are hoping to get in more than the 2 hours of beach time we managed on Oct!

Good luck with the surgery.

I was just wondering why I hadn't heard from you when we were both on St. John together, and I guess I know now. I hope you are doing well and get better real soon, because I still owe you a drink!

I just wanted you to know that you have been in my thoughts and your absence was noticed.

Knolmom,
Good luck with the surgery and I am glad things went well for you on STJ with the paramedics and then the hospital.
My buddy Wendy is a parametic on island and she says they have a really good team

Knolmom,
I'm glad you had some fun before the surpise attack. I'm sorry that I didn't get to say goodbye!
Good luck with the surgery and keep us posted.
