This is NUTS! It is snowing here!!!

I'll post pics later, but this is NOT normal! It's beautiful but this city is not used to it. I tried to write this a few minutes ago, but we lost power

LOL...love it. Same here in DC. People LOSE their minds when it snows and we get snow more often than you do for sure.

It's raining now but it was fun while it lasted! Don't know how much longer we will have it on the ground (since this is not something I know alot about).

I am sure there will be lots of car accidents as we have NO clue how to drive in the snow. Thank goodness I don't have appointments till this afternoon!

Funny thing is you forget the snow is wet so you go stand in it then realize you are soaking wet.

So much for the shorts I had on two days ago! It was 34 degrees here which is nuts!

I have a very sweet memory of being with a couple of Africans when they saw snow for the first time in their lives. Hope you enjoyed it. Isn't that supposed to be one of the signs that the end of the world is near, though?

Lex, if you believe in the Mayan/Aztec calendar, the last day of the world will be on Dec. 21, 2011, so you may just be on to something here!

Yep, passed from CA over the Rockies to your doorstep. Hang in there, another one is coming over the Rockies this Sunday - Tuesday.

Last time we had snow was Christmas Day the December for Katrina so it's kinda creepy. Everyone I talked to today seemed to bring it up...Lex - I hope you are not right

I am wondering if this is gonna happen again this year...THAT would be crazy!

Our temps are supposed to take a plunge of 30 degrees or so tomorrow and rain is predicted for the weekend. That means snow for the Sierras & Rockies for sure.
