Excitement is in the air here. Just booked our trip to STJ this year. April. Never been in april, only in May. How does the water temp, air temp, and crowdedness compare? Also, More excitement. Daughter and her husband just emailed me sono pictures today, and son and his wife are awaiting a call any day from ethiopia where they are adopting a baby girl. Grandbabies soon come.

I just booked our trip a few minutes ago! We'll be there April 20-27, 2009. We're staying at Cinnamon Tarn. Can't wait!!!

Congratulations on the grandchildren! And the trip, of course.

April has no mosquitoes, only May has mosquitoes. That was our experience in 2007!
It's all spring-like weather - the water is cooler and there is slightly less rain in April than May. Not really much difference between the two.
Cheers, RickG

Regatta season is in full swing end of March and early April. It's a GREAT time of year to watch the races. If you can score time on the water it's cool. Plus the parties are fantastic on Tortola and STT.
You'll have fun no matter what!
