Neat websites? I'm SO bored at work

Post by Connie »

I'm in real estate and it's horribly dead in this office. I JUST CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE!!!

Anyone have any different or little known websites to keep me busy?

This is the Christmas season and it will be like this for awhile.

Please help me!!!

I have been reading this one for years, it is written by a person that ditched real life and moved to TCI. I find it interesting because the couple really lives there in the sense that they seem to be fully intergrated into island life -

This is actually a kid thing but French and beautiful. It is hard to describe, it is interactive. If you click on the sub, it takes you to an ocean scene and then to different games and such when you click on things like the pirate chest -

Thanks all!!! I've been looking around.

By the way Lulu...I would GLADLY do some work for you because I'd rather be busy.

I did find something and I hope I don't offend anyone with this....

Also, I apologize that I didn't put this post on the Off-Topic forum, but I'm not thinking right today.

Kenny Chesney has named his 2009 tour the Sun City Carnival, according to a publicist for BNA Records. Among the tour stops is an Aug. 15 visit to Gillette Stadium near Boston where he has headlined several all-day concerts that also featured A-level country artists. Other shows include the Apple River Country Splash festival in Somerset, Wis. (June 19), the Stagecoach festival in Indio, Calif. (April 26), the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Alberta (July 10), the Merritt Mountain Music Festival in Merritt, British Columbia (July 11) and Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyo. (July 24-25).

WoooooHooooo....Philly here he comes!!!

connie, How about doing things in "Island Time" mode. Should make some tasks take considerably longer. I sent you a pm also. Hope things pick up for you.

Here is a funny news site, FARK.com The headlines are the best. It's on my daily read list. It updates all the time during the day.

I always thought Stumble Upon was a great time killer. You pick topics you like in general and it feeds you web pages based on your choices. When you see a page you like, you give it a thumbs up. If you don't like it, you give it a thumbs down. It learns as you go, and before you know it you've killed a lot of time reading about things you like! It's very addictive and the default settings are safe for work.

(Shameless plug)...There's also my blog!

I read this blog once. The guy who writes it is mostly unfunny and uses bad words. But he often gets attacked by wild animals and stuck on airplanes.

What's the name of it? I can't recall...

Another day at work and I'm sure it will be quiet.

I have written down all these web sites and will sneak them in when the boss isn't watching :D
