We are currently on Island and Love City Villas is the managment company for our villa and all has been fine. We had two issues upon arrival only one set of villa keys and no operating instructions for the safe. Both issues were handled professionaly and promptly. I did not see the posts in question but we have had no issues with their resopnses to our requests.

So Mary Beth I hope your experience goes well also.

We are staying at Calypso del Sol, we stayed here last year and enjoyed it here. We decided to stay here again because of our previous experience and with two 2 year old boys we knew what the Villa offered for children. The owners waived the age restriction for children for us which I thought was a nice thing for them to do.

well then perhaps the mcpenguin5 experience was an anomaly--things happen and certainly Kris has been more than understanding on that end--but she also provided an honest opinion on their experiences with the mgt co.

so ..all's well that ends well?
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

Jimg makes a great point. In addition, this forum has become a valuable resource not only for those of us who vacation on STJ and STT but for the businesses on them. When a report about a certain business on island is less than stellar it is an opportunity for the business to take corrective action to make themselves better. Customer service sometimes means swallowing one's pride and going out of our way to please the customer.

If the villa agency had read Mrs McP's report and replied to her in this forum with courtesy and an apology for any misunderstandings and the lack of response to requests, the impression left with the readers would be much better, IMO. Every business is going to make mistakes. How they handle them and customer relations in general, especially in public, is very, very important. Just my 2 cents.

Love City Villas

Post by okwhynot »

We have booked through Love City Villas several times.
Have no complaints.
Have checked in early and have also had to wait on our check in time.
I guess,in my eyes it's not Love City's fault for someone having a bad day.
And we will certainly use their services again and again.

Okay - so - okwhynot - who are you? You just joined a couple of days ago - and this is your first post? WHY would you assume that there was "someone having a bad day" when nothing in this thread says that? What personal information do you have about this incident? Why couldn't your comment just be:

"We have booked through Love City Villas several times.
Have no complaints.
Have checked in early and have also had to wait on our check in time."

And why beat a dead horse? This thread was dying - and now the stink has been brought up again.
