Cptnkirk's day 2 report

Post by cptnkirk »

Well I sleep like a log downstairs in the bedroom by the pool. I'm up at sunrise like always and head for the front door to unlock it. Sea Dream has three bedrooms with the pool bedroom being downstairs separate from the main villa. Worked great for this freight train of a snorer plus I got a nice comfy bed. Make a pot of coffee and sit on the deck enjoying the views listenin to the roosters in the distance. I love the roosters in the morning it is so St John. As I wake up on the porch Andy gets up and starts cookin our breakfast staple bacon and eggs. Don't think it gets much better than this the smell of coffee brewing, bacon cooking, watching the sunrise from your veranda and roosters crowing in the distance.
Not to bad a view to drink your coffee to

Girls get up about an hour later and we decide Hawksnest would be a good beach to hit today as we need to get back for the Ohio State Michigan game at one o'clock.. Hawksnest was rough from the northern swells but as beautiful as ever, this is one of our fave beaches . No snorklin today, oh well we caught a little buzz and had fun in some tasty waves.

Well we head back to the villa to catch the game and we start to watch it Ohio State starts getting way ahead so we decide it's to nice to be inside so Teresa, princess and I head for the pool to catch some rays and have some more drinks by the pool. Andy and Dawn keep us informed on the game and we hoot and holler when the Bucks score. I'm pretty sure all Chocolate Hole was cussin us when we scored and we scored a lot that day.
Chillin by the pool

After the game we decide steaks were for dinner. We brought down steaks for one of the meals we planned, as we take turns on cooking dinners between couples. I really have no problem eating in when on St John as I like to cook, the setting is so awesome, I can stay in my swimsuit and did I mention I'm cheap. Andy and I try to do most the cooking and dishes so the girls can really relax, cause a relaxed woman is good women if ya know what I mean. Great dinner, little night swim, some more drinks (shocker isn't it) and off to bed by nine (Pathetic isn't it) Hey when your up at the crack of dawn nine seems late or maybe it has a little to do with the drinkin nah think it's the crack of dawn thingy. Tomorrow is another adventure we all look forward to as we hit the sack.

I've seen the crack of dawn before, and it didn't look like that...

Sounds like you were having a great time!

I'm with you, man!
It's difficult not to buy too much on vacation,(Uncle Joe's, Skinny's, Duffy's wings on STT, etc...) but as far as the grilling on the patio- two thumbs up. 8)
We bring our weeks' worth of grub in a cooler, as well, and it's a great relief to have our fridge stuffed upon our arrival/stay.
Great pics', thanks!- How was the rump roast?
