There's only been one barge running for awhile now. Not sure when the others will be back up and running. It was a real pain, long lines, seeing the barge fill up and having to wait for the next, people pulling in front of us in line, just crazy. So, for those of you coming and planning on taking the barge, show up early and be prepared to wait. :(

Only one was running last week. We left about 9:30 for STJ friday morning after arriving shortly after 8:00 thinking we would get the 8:30. Then on the return to STT we waited for about an hour in the gravel parking lot outside the gates. It was a pain and the noseeums were biting. At least it was the big barge running, it could have been worse.

Last Monday I waited in Red Hook for 3.5 hours, just got on the last barge. Good thing there were frosty Presidentes at the Esso station across the street.

Still only one barge as of yesterday. I've been going over and back early in the week (M,T or W) and have not had any problems. But i would be anticipate them if i was going on Friday or Saturday.
