For alw1977 - Coconut Coast

Didn't you spend one night at Coconut Coast on one of your trips? Would you do that again? What did you like/not like about the property?

Yes, we stayed there in the summer of 2007. It was clean and comfortable, but fairly basic. It was nice to listen to the ocean roll the rocks around while laying in bed at night. I loved how convenient the location was to town, though it's located in a residential neighborhood that is fairly congested (by St. John standards). We stayed in a studio. It was a large room with a kitchenette and a very large covered balcony overlooking the water. The owners were nice and the A/C worked well.

I would definitely stay there again, especially if it were for three nights or less. For longer trips, I'd probably find something a little roomier (remember, we were in a studio). We stayed at Gallows Point this last time and I liked that more, but of course the price was also much higher.

Thanks for your quick reply. That is all I needed to know - I think it will be fine for one night if we are not able to check in to our villa a day early.
