I have unexpectedly been in West Virginia for the past few days. It has been cold as hell, and I mean cold. It warmed up a little bit today. Jay and Deb, you are going to freeze your a$$ses off when you come home for your visit
. Hope to see you soon!
P.S. Jay and Deb, if you read this, I have been hanging out in Morgantown (sans Gary). My mom is at University of WVA Hospital(Ruby). She was visiting her sister and became ill. I'm hoping to still be able to make it to STJ. The indecision is killing me. After spending many hours of the day at the hospital and in a tiny hotel room, I need some island therapy!! Maybe it won't be the usual amount of fun, but we need some diversion.

Going "home" again October 26th!
When I left ATL on the 8th, it was warm. When I got back from St. John on the 15th I was freezing. Here I am in my soggy dollar t-shirt and capri pants and people were wearing mittens! (Being from Michigan, I didn't need mittens, but it was cold!)
It's been freezing all week. My little feet that don't really like to be covered up are very excited about the big warm, fuzzy socks I have on.
Today has been a warm up -- 52 degrees for the high -- but it's still a shock from St. John.
I heard on TV this morning that it was 7 degrees in Elkins, WV this morning! That's cold. Even for a Michigander.
