Suzuki Vitara question

Post by Island Dreaming »

Does the Vitara have anything that you can safely lock up a few things like a glove compartment? Or is it just asking for trouble to leave anything in the car, locked or not?

We rented a 4 door Suzuki Vitara from Dependable this past trip over Halloween. I don't recall even looking for a glove-box lock, - I just don't bring what's not necessary to the beach, ya' know?
We bring a small amount cash, no ID's, no credit cards,-nothing that will be missed were we to be ripped off. I've personally never had a problem in 9 trips, but it's always safer to keep the goods in tha safe at the villa.
We also make sure that our cameras are not left alone at any beach. There's usually someone in our party to chill out on a chaise, by the bags.
It's kind of impromptu security measures, but it seems to work out well.
The only valuables we bring to the beach are beer, water, chairs, and snacks.
Less worry!
Smiles-
MJ
