Just booked my villa and airfare!!

Post by ~Willow~ »

This is my first time posting here, but I've been a lurker for years :) My husband and I are returning to STJ after 5 years. We were last there in November 2001. We will be there from May 11th to the 17th and have rented Moonsong through Cloud 9 villas. We even got a great deal on airfare...$900 total with taxes for the two of us from Boston.

I'm just so excited to get back! Thanks for all the wonderful info you post here...it has been a tremedous help in my obsessive planning :)

Congrads on your booking and more so – getting back to STJ. We will be on-island the same time and it would be fun to hook up with who ever is on-island. The count down is getting shorter.

Hi Willow, care to share details on the airfare? I'm still looking for ours, and we are flying out of Boston too. We'll be arriving the day after you leave!

Liamsaunt - We booked directly through usairways.com. We were very flexible in our travel dates so I just kept playing around with the dates until I got a good deal. Unfortunately it looks like the rates go up towards the end of May. Have you looked into Spirit Airlines? They also had a decent fare from Boston for our dates.

Willow, glad you are getting to return...my return visit is still 70+ days out, and I get more excited every day. I used Spirit Air out of D.C.

moonsong

Post by papabou »

`willow & ron,

moonsong is a great villa for a couple or a family with older (subteen up) children. not large but the living area has 2 sets of double doors that open back onto decks in different directions with water views giving the villa the feel of complete openness. she has a convenient easy access location,(you'll get use to that last 1 lane hairpin curve just before the drive), great views and we love the sound of the surf from hart bay below. bride and i stayed there in dec 04 and for 2 days last week in order to extend our stay on stj after our time ran out at our fav, c9.

while i didn't do last week, it's not a bad walk down to hart bay for some good snorkeling if the surf's not too high. normally if north shore is choppy, then hart will be smooth!

enjoy!
