Booking car through villa agency or directly?

Post by ~Willow~ »

Is there a plus to booking it through the villa agency? We are renting through Cloud 9. Anyone know which car rental place they use? I'd love to rent a car through a place that lets us park in town. Thanks!

We're also renting through Cloud 9 and I asked Marcy to book a car for us out of convenience. They use C & C Car Rental. They have received good reviews on the various forii, but I don't know if they allow parking in their lot. That is on my list of things to find out :)

Time to start working on convincing the wife that we have to go back soon!

I'm sure you could park in their lot but I've always found closer parking because they are past the texico station.

We always book the car ourselves, through St John Car Rental. Very nice people and right in town. I believe they will let you park in their lot, although we have never done that. (we spend most of our time in Coral Bay) Went through the villa agency once, but to me, it only adds a layer of complexity... call the villa agent to ask if they will call the car rental to check on our reservation. And then hope everyone gets back to everyone else...
No matter where you go, there you are.

Hi Willow, Penns has a large (for STJ) lot that you can park in if you rent from them. It's across the street from the lumberyard. They are nice people too. When I called to rent for this year they mentioned they had all new cars--apparently Jeep Liberties.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Hi,
You can also try Courtesy rentals, they are right next to the police ststion by Woody's and they let you park on their lot. I used them this past trip in January and only parked there twice when I couldn't find a spot close to where I was going.
